Meet Jacob! This GORGEOUS 3-4 year old hound mix came to us quite thin, but his transformation has been nothing short of amazing. Arriving to Animal Alliance quite underweight—just 32 lb— he’s a healthy, energetic 50 lb bundle of joy! He’s friendly, handsome, walks well on leash, and is just waiting patiently for his forever home. He’s neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, de‑wormed, and on monthly flea/tick preventatives—Jacob is all set to go home with you!

About Animal Alliance

Founded in 2001, Animal Alliance is an animal welfare organization that rescues and rehabilitates homeless animals, caring for them until they are adopted. Each year we adopt on average 500-700 animals. We focus our efforts on animals facing euthanasia at other shelters, as well as those who were victims of cruelty or neglect. Additionally we spay/neuter approximately 2,500 animals annually at our Planned Pethood Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic. We know the only way to fix pet overpopulation is to "fix" our pets. Planned Pethood also offers affordable, basic veterinary care with the aim of keeping at-risk pets in their homes and out of shelters.

  • Provide low-cost spay/neuter services to prevent unwanted strays and keep pets out of shelters in the first place

  • Rescue animals from euthanasia at other shelters

  • Rehabilitate injured and ill animals that have suffered abuse or neglect

  • Offer affordable vaccinations and routine care for pets in need
