I live with my two unique cats Snowdrop and Becky. My mother and I adopted Snowdrop from the Bucks County SPCA, and we adopted Becky from my piano teacher that moved back to England. Its nice to adopt a cat because its like saving a life.
We got a cat because my mom didn't want a kitten scratching furniture up. At the SPCA, Snowdrop was all the way in the corner of the room when we first saw her.
"Look Mommy, look at that pretty white cat in the corner over there,"I said to my Mom. So then we decided to adopt her. But as the lady went to get Snowdrop into the box, Snowdrop clung to her blanket that was in her cage and started dragging it to the box, with her food on it.
It was not easy to bring Becky home either. When we got Becky she was in a bad mood because she did not want to go into her cage and we had to force her in there. When we got to our house, we let Becky sniff the place.
My piano teacher came over everyday to check up on her to see if she was getting used to us yet. Before my piano teacher left to go to England she said,"Becky loves to go outside."
So we had to let Becky outside everyday. Then, one day I called for her and she did not come. I got very worried and I thought she would go back to my piano teachers house but she did not. We found her the next morning. I was so glad. I love my cats very much and if anything happened to them, I would be devastated.
