Donna Garcia is an Executive Coach and Master Trainer in communication and sales. Skills with over twenty years experience. Donna loves her work and considers it an honor to help with individuals and organizations maximize their potential. Whether she is working with teams or individuals the essential ingredient is the same effective communication. When people communicate effectively, skills are enhanced, processes are improved, and barriers are identified and ultimately broken down which results in improved performance and accomplishments.

Donna has volunteered with Animal Alliance since the adoption of her dog Max more than three years ago. She has fostered puppies, managed some administrative areas, and serves as a dedicated member of the Board.

"I eat a plant-based diet, no animal products, dairy or eggs. I'm a vegan committed to living a life that does not include suffering and violence to animals, human beings and the environment."

ABOUT OUR DOGS
Max & Sophie

"After losing our beloved 14-year-old dog Molly, we were hesitant about getting another dog. But, Max came into our life and we have been running ever since. A family who did not want him anymore turned over Max to Animal Alliance. He was only a year old and a puppy mill mutt. Last year, after coming home from a PETA conference my husband announced that Max needed a partner.

"I plan to take a course in animal training with Max and Sophie. I do not know if a week is long enough to train me!"

Max is an alpha male so Annie Trinkle thought a female would be a good companion. Sophie was living with an elderly woman and Sophie was matted, dirty and shy when she came home with us. But not for long! She runs our household with her companion, Max.

Sophie and Max are like many couples. He knows when to leave her alone and vice versa. When Max is running around the house trying to get the postal worker, Sophie just sits and waits for him to calm down.

Max knows not to go near her food when she's eating. He sits and waits in the other room until she is finished.

They cuddle up in their bed together, play and rough house and truly are magnificent. My husband calls them 'Naughty' and 'Naughtier'.
